Problem Playing ISO with SVN 32683

I am trying to play an unencoded DVD rip in ISO format using dvdplayer. This is a file I've played 100 times or more with no issues. If I just play the ISO normally the CPU shoots to 100% and it's unplayable. When I enable "Full Codec Support for DVDPlayer" then it looks blocky and generally crappy. The problem does not happen when I use mplayer.
I updated to 3.5 beta 2 when this problem started occurring. I then upgraded to SVN 32683 and had the same problem. I'm wondering if it's the update to FFMPEG that is causing the problem.

Help appreciated.

I have uploaded zimdba.zip to the ftp server. It contains an mpeg-2 stream that won't play and a debug log.
I didn't want to use the bugtracker because I didn't want to create a duplicate if this already exists.

this is fixed in svn. in the meantime, just enable "full codec support" as you mentioned (I didn't see any blockyness on my system though with that setting)

I installed the latest SVN build. The file DID play, but there was still a lot of pixellation or blockiness in the video. I ended up watching the video with mplayer again. I have a ton of mpeg-2 videos I'll see if I can find if it happens on all videos or just this set.

I think you have fast mode on. Check settings
