Can anyone help me with a bios that can handle 128 MB ram and a 2TB HDD (LBA48 V2)
Tried X2 4983.86 the 128 MB Worked but no F & G
Also tried Evox M8 F & G Worked Fine but only 64 MB ram
I can use TSOP to flash.
Thanks

You're in the off-topic discussion forum, you need to post in the modding section instead. Before you do that check my very recent posts in there on precisely this subject.
**edit**
I see some kind soul's moved your post already into the right section.

Ind-Bios 5003 67 uses the LBA48 hack & supports 128mb Ram, was the only non 256kb bios to do so 100%
I have a 500GB Sata HDD installed & using Xbox Partitioner 1.3. The ind Bios is the only one to see all the GBs & my 128mb Ram, I tried a few Bios as I was wanting rid of the Loading In-Bios config txt, but ended up back there since it just works the best.

BuZz told me that the latest X2 BIOS (5035) is probably the best one to use. Others have broken features.
What version is your Xbox ? If its a v1.0 or v1.1 you can flash the latest X2 BIOS on it. Its 512KB so it doesn't fit on a v1.2-v1.5 TSOP which only have a 256KB TSOP.
My preference in that order: X3(X3 chip ONLY!) > X2 5035 > iND-BiOS 5003.
@Rocky5: You can inject the config in a ind-bios.bin and flash it to get rid of the "loading config" screen.
Downside: You won't be able to edit the config from a file after that.
Look at this video old from me, pitch black startup (don't ask me for the config file or whatever, long time gone):

I bricked an xbox by doing that, so not taking the chance with my 128mb ram modded board.
I don't know why it bricked since the config worked on the HDD & all I done was inject it & flash the bios to the Tsop. Would rather have the txt than a paper weight lol

1.4 you flash the Tsop with the ind-bios, those bios are 256kb in size. You will need gentoox or raincoat to flash your Tsop though, since its will be a winbond.
My xbox is 1.4 with 128mbs of ram & ind bios 5003 (patched with a custom config location) have always used ind bios, as it has the most features than any other 256kb bios. (Its on par with the 512+KB bios. In my opinion)
Also if you want to get fancy you can patch your Tsop with the ind-bios & then use PBL to load another bios say a 512kb bios since its to large for our Tsop, we need to use a BFM version & use a loader to load it.
Off topic:
I was trying to get the features of NKPatcher & the features of a bios (hard mod) to work together, didn't work you can load retail BFM bios ( certain focus chips don't work, I have two boards ) & then softmod it but it doesn't work I was hoping for the no boot animation with the virtual drive feature of the softmods.
Even tried just editing the NKPatcher source, but didn't work.

Note that not all v1.4s have a Winbond TSOP. Many I have flashed have ST Micro TSOPs. ...but, yes, they're all 256KB.

Really? every 1.4/5 I have had has been winbond. All UK Xboxs mind, 6 & counting.
Though I guess I will see when my N64 Freak V1.4 board gets here. Prob a winbond knowing my luck lol.

You don't have a winbond Tsop oO
But glad you got it sorted ind-bios is the best in my opinion for us non 512kb+ peeps.
I will find out some time this week when my 1.4 N64Freak board arrives, if non winbond 1.4 boards are a region thing.

More likely simply a production batch/line thing, commodity components are often second sourced to keep the suppliers on their toes and assure production continuity.

Just an update, I got my 1GHz 128mb ram board today from N64Freak & its a 1.4 with a Winbond Tsop, so it would seem every EUboard had them. I have never had a 1.4 without one.

I played with a v1.4 PAL box the other day which had a 256K Hynix TSOP. And I've got records of other v1.2-v1.4 PAL boxes I've modded which have 256K STMicro TSOPs.
(I keep the records so I can help people remotely - without them having to bring their box round to my place.)

I am in the states and I have plenty of the 1.4 boards. They mostly have the winbond TSOP. But I have had a few over the lst years that were not winbond.
