Hello, this is my first post here. I was advised to come here from the guys over at emuxtras.net and ask this.

With the recent release of the new xbmc4xbox, I have started playing around with my softmodded xbox again. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to have fanart show for other stuff besides for movies/ tv shows on any skin. I want it to show when an emulator is highlighted or an xbox game is selected. Here's some examples of what I'm talking about:

or this:

I've tried naming the fanart to fanart.jpg in the root of the .xbe game/emu, doesn't work. Also tried renaming the fanart to the title of the xbe, still no dice.

Can someone help me?

You need to rename the image to "default.tbn". The image should be in the specific game directory. Hope this helps.

**UPDATE** Apologies, having read back your question I don't think I've been of any help. Can a moderator delete my incorrect answer!

Hehe. Yea that's the correct way to have icons show up. I'm talking about the background images.

I've set it up on Transparency with xbox games but not EMU's. I dont know if it's skin specific or not however. Just put the image in the root of the game and name it fanart.jpg and all should show up fine. I too would like a way to get this into Confluence since it runs good and quick.

If it's in a sub folder, I just put the .tbn in that sub folder and the name must match the folder you want the picture for ie, Emulators would be Emulators. tbn. This works in all folders except FTP links of machines on your network, ie, multiple Xboxes on a LAN you cannot have pictures assigned for each of the other xboxes.
