Xbox V1.4 with 128MB of RAM and 1GHZ CPU upgrade

Hi,
i upgraded yet another xbox V1.4. This time the motherboard got 128mb of Ram and a 1ghz cpu installed.
The tsop like allways got the Xecuter2 4983 installed and the clock cap has been removed to prevent damage to the motherboard.
The case of this xbox is pretty worn out so i would like to sell the motherboard by itself. If you want or need the rest of the parts and a case i can add them for 10€ extra.
The price for the board would be 80€ plus shipping costs to wherever you are. ---SOLD to sboexle---
I'm willing to do international shipping if you cover the costs!
Here are pictures of the board and screenshots showing the upgrades:

I've got two of N64's 128MB boards - his work is very neat and professional and he's a good fellow to chat with about his work too.
He's shipped from Germany to me in England no problems.
Recommended.
...Wish I could justify buying a 1GHz jobby, but I can't.

wow, nice price!
I have always wondered though, what's the deal with 1ghz+128MB when you play retail games? Do they all work? Need patches?

@keropi:
Well the 1ghz cpu is even negative for playing retail games! For some games you need a patch, and some maybe can't even be patched.
If you want to play retail games an unmodified (no faster cpu and no ram upgrade) is definitely the cheapest and simplest way.
All xbox games are developed for 733mhz and 64mb of ram. Some games do profit of the 128mb of Ram because the development consoles had 128mb of Ram.
If you want an upgraded board for retail games i would advise you a 128mb modded board, and thats not even needed!
@GhostlyGamer:
If this one doesn't sell or you want one just let me know.
I can mod one for you that suits youre needs!

I just testing a few games, no way...except Shikigami no shiro 1 and 2...maybe others games work with 1ghz...
CPX3 run very well (at 60 fps)but the fps counter is always 44 fps, I think a patch is needed for real fps display.
Thank again N64 freak, your work is amazing !! I love my news xbox
Test to be continued...

@othello: Thank you for the feedback to the board!
I have a tip for you to get the games working on the 1ghz board. I've sent you a PM regarding it!
The patcher should also be able to get other applications patched to properly work on the 1ghz board.
-Just to have it said i don't take any credit for the patcher !ALL credit belongs to the person who programmed it!-

Thank you

Problems resolved !!!
Here the little test with patch:
CPX3 ---> counter fps has correct display
FBL ----> video preview with sound has no lag.
UnleashX and XBMC ----> no lag when playing xmv files (the same lag with FBL)..
Xbox games ---->for now it's ok

Pcsxbox --->video preview with sound has no lag.
Xdsl -----> dosen't need
Too bad for CPS3 games on FBL, it's very playable but need a more fast processor, 1.4ghz would be great to be fully playable at 60fps
Voila

All of the above. You can customize it

The patcher attached above is ok for a few files but it is inflexible. If you have an HDD stuffed full of things that need patching then it is VERY time consuming.
Here is another patcher that is far more flexible. This one still handles single files but can also recursively scan directories and patch all files within them in batch.
Full credit to the author "mwaterbu" over at Emuextras for this excellent utility.

Clabs, thanks fir posting that, it is the patcher I thought was already being discussed.
As for coinops , yes, patch the whole thing recursively

Quick question on the patcher... I think I've just realised you have to patch the software
before you upload it to your xbox!
He says after copying 100gb of games....

@Geeba, your only patching .xbe for each game. Simple enough to FTP the .xbe from the xbox to the PC, patch and send it back. You can do it on the PC first if you want, either way.
