No rain here either BKO. Last year the farm had already had 136mm to date from New Year's Day. This year's total, 6.4mm. It is super dry in Sydney and one match and the place will burn. Speaking of burning your state is ablaze again with quite a few houses burnt down over the last day or two, very sad. Thank God no deaths so far. Ironic in the U.K. we are hearing of cattle being moved from floods while our farmers a shooting stock rather than watching them die of thirst or lack of food. Hope rain arrives soon for both of us and the temp drops a bit. Anyway, keep smiling mate and stay safe aye.

A lot of bushfires around us and even one 300m away , 1 house was burned down near my parents ans lots of fast moving grass fires. Thankfully the wind has dropped off along with the temp down to a nice 25c.

The wrath of God compels us to be better stewards of the earth, maybe we should turn off all our PCs, Xboxes and TVs.

A few days too late but got some nice refreshing rain today, just enough to settle the dust and give the grass and plants a watering. It will help the fireys that are still putting out spot fires around the state.
