Has anyone seen a good working and complete file for Coinops 5 on Usenet? I have gotten several but all are incomplete and not repairable. Any and all help welcomed. Thanks

Yes have downloaded that link twice..

I have also tried two other links. All files are corrupt or unfixable. Have used Quick Par to try and fix the issues but no go.. Have downloaded over 1.5 TB in 2 days and still have an unusable copy of coinops 5. Any help or comments welcomed. Thanks

Dunno if you know about, or are interested in the Madmab Edition Emulators with the RessurectionXtras.
PM me for more information.

I happened to download and test this one using Giganews after someone reported problems
[do not test admin patience.. please do not post links to copyrighted material - whether it be on usenet or not]
it unpacked fine for me, using SabNZBd.
It's the official upload by a member of the CoinOPS forum, made at the time of first release. There are a lot of fake upload too, but they are easy to spot.

seems that it would be better to nuke the thread if reasonable responses to the question of the OP cannot be given without breaking site rules...

A reasonable response would not involve breaking forum rules. Check out the PM button. If coinops shipped without all the copyrighted files, it would be less of an issue (excluding the horrendous GPL breaches too which is not compatible with our project ethos). I think it's pretty fair I don't want activity involving downloading thousands of copyrighted roms and even full xbox titles talked about in public.
I'm not a fan of nuking threads either so this can stay.
it was pretty obvious when you posted, and the previous link was already removed, that posting another one would not be the best idea ever.
