All,

Having been introduced to an android .apk by a friend at work
I was wondering if there was similar functionality in one of our
existing addons.

The application is sopcast, do we already have something similar?
If not, would something be feasible?

No sopcast will never be ported to Xbox. It requires an external program to run and I don't see anyone making one for an obsolete system I'm afraid.
