XBMC4Xbox

Hi just wondering if anyone can shed some light on this issue.

When streaming a movie, once the whole movie has catched to the hard drive the movie stops.

For example I can be watching a movie on movie25, I would be half way through watching it, but once the film completely catches on the hd the movie drops out, see the log

try to reinstall xbmc again on your xbox maybe that will solve your problem good luck

Sorry only just got chance to reply, tried a reinstall and still have the same problem, so I've deleted the advanced settings, so it doesn't catche and it works fine, other than when a film needs more space to catche to stop the buffering.

Any ideas?

Your XBMC4Xbox is built in Aug 12 2013 (see top line), you might want to update to 3.3.3, release in October (search forums for "unofficial builds" or use the plugin in my signature).

Then, make sure you've got the latest version of the plugin using Addons4Xbox Installer (now coming with the above), I can see it's got changes in November.

PS: Nice to see you're using the Android remote

in this case, updating (probably) wont fix anything. caching to disk is a) rather unsupported hence only being able to enable in advancedsettings and b) not needed in most cases where you stream from a source that is quick enough and you network fast enough.

in the case of a slow network, you are still better off downloading to a pc and sharing with the xbox.
