Any one playing on Xlink Kai or XBConnect?

Hi,
The title sums it all, I sometimes play Halo 2 on system link using Xlink Kai or XBC, it's real fun

hi mate, i myself would use it form time to time with the xbconnect. is there many other games it would be good for in particular.

There are a lot of compatible games, but people are mostly playing Halo 2 or 1, you can play Call of Duty 2, 3 etc ... Top Spin, Project Gotham Racing 2 etc....

I jumped on XBC and played some H1 a month or so ago, fun as hell and still good people in there, all 3 of them

It would be nice if people from the forum organise something on there
my XBC ID/XLink GT is Deksmor if you want to add me to play. I will have to buy an Xbox communicator

nice didnt know people on here used it still. i usually burn on either halo or nfsu 2 lol

I use to love playing far cry instincts on it. It helped me get rid of the first wife
that's got to be worth more than a head shot!

I never managed to get Xlink Kai to work. I have a laptop connected wirelessly to a router that acts as the wireless bridge for the Xbox. FTP works and all, but I can't get Xlink to work. Would love to though.
I did get a old P4 desktop recently that's connected with a cable to the wireless bridge, this might work.
I'll have to give it a try.

Alright! I've managed to get Xlink to work! Played some Halo 2 to try it out. This is awesome! If only people would play other games then Halo 2
. We should definatly organize something for the forums.
I would love to play some OutRun 2 or Forza

I also think that the Xbox Live communicator works with the compatible games

Yep, It works as long as the game supports it.
Headset: This refers to the XBox Live headset and whether you can use it in the system-link section of the game. Most XBox Live enabled games with additional system-link support will support the XBox Live headset in system-link play, but not always. If a game does not support voice via the XBox Live headset, a PC headset and SPEEX can be combined as a compromise. Please see the FAQ for more information on SPEEX.

Well I installed xbc last night and played a little halo2 lol it brought back some memories.
I would really like to arrange a toca 3 or nfsu2 session

I don't think so, no. I think it was only on some old T3CH builds of XBMC.

But i think that should change. So I have created this topic so people can arrange games over xlink kai
