Ok guys looking for some stuff and hope with the forums help these can be found -

firstly is there any1 still doing custom eched jewels? im desperate for one of these or someone who can make them

A halo xbox or a place that sells the halo case.



The black version of the crystal case (Skeleton Black) or just the case as it may be in Japanese



The blue dead or alive ultimate case (Kasumi-chan Blue) again just the case would do as this may also be a Japanese console.



(Quick question - if i buy a japenese console can it be converted to english via modding?)


Im also looking for a set of standard def wires that include amp inputs for sound (for example digital optical) and converters for the xbox to allow connection of older gampads (nintendo, ps1, super nintendo etc)

Heaps of these in Australia, 60's. Same price as a normal black case. They are very common out here along crystal clear machines. The greens are 1.3-1.4 and the crystals or 1.6s out here that is being PAL versions. I know the Jap and US NTSC model vary to the PALs as in what models they were actually released in. I also think the crystal clears were available in 1.2s out here but I've never had one myself.

Good luck. Make it yourself using a Ghost case I'd do myself if I liked them.

XPH has the world's supply of blue cases I do believe and he gave the Japanese a couple...

No seriously a Jap one will be fine providing you swap the 100volt power supply for the UK 220 volt one and then run Enigmah to change it to a PAL or leave it as it's default NTSC to run 720p component.

Hey man thanks for the reply, been looking everywhere for the blue dead or alive and skeleton case xbox's for quite some time. unfortunately the ones found on ebay etc are really expensive. nice to know i can still use them with minimal effort.

i already had a go at making the black case but i just cant get it right witht the 'frosted effect' as it is with the crystal case.

anyways by any chance are you selling a halo 2 xbox? also would you know anywhere that still sells the custom eched jewels or anyone on the forum that has some?

All the ones I was unlucky enough to ever get hold of, ( only because I like to mod all my own machines in this house and actually prefer the black ones for this reason), were quickly sold off to customers usually with swapped over version 1.0 and 1.1 boards inside them. I thought I did quite well actually because the customer always thought they were getting something special and I thought I was getting rid of my unwanted rubbish. Anyway, I'll keep my eye out for one for you . As for a custom etched Jewel, have you thought of a stock Jewel and just sanding it back so thin as to remove the letters and then taking it along to an engraver to engrave what you are after or go straight to a perspex supplier and get them to cut out some "blanks" for you and then off to an engraver?.

I see some of the blue xbox's on Ebay coming from Canada. Between and $100-200 bucks but worth it i'd say.

thats great man if you ever come across the halo 2 xbox or anything else ive been looking for defo let me no. i try to get on the forum several times a day so im always not far away.

had a look around the belfast area with not much joy (reguarding jewels) did sand one right down to remove lettering but end finish wasent the best. i know there used to be a place online that did them to order but have yet to re-find the shop again. hopefully some1 on here has bought some and never got round to using them (fingers crossed )

Hi I've got a green translucent xbox case but it doesnt have the Halo sticker on the front (not sure if there are any other differences?). drop me a pm if you're interested!

My 3 x crystal's are all 1.4's same as the Halo's, i missed one of those blue consoles last year and kicking myself now

Just wanted to say Mr. Slim from xbox-scene.com may have some of what you're looking for. I know in his oast buy/sell/trade threads he had blue and smoke Xbox's for sale. You may try sending him a PM to see what he's got in stock.

Yeah he wanted about $400 for the Japanese smoke console .

This guy is crazy with his over priced consoles

Mr Slim might like a fat margin.

For the jewel, you can just do it with a plexiglass laser cut (3mm), with the engraver as well, I did a custom Xbox 360 like this (Window mod with the XBOX 360 logo engraved from the inside, so it's smooth from the outside).

that xbox looks sweet man wish my skills would be up to that, a small open drive and window mod on a crystal xbox would be the closest ive come to that lol. Would love to find some original custom etched jewels but there very rare. however i havent given up looking for them.

You want some Dance Mats, Skate Board or a LCD Screen (just like this one)?

emmmmm dont think id be looking the skateboard but the dance mats might be useful. was there many games that used it.

ah man havent seen a screen like that in years. is it self powered with the xbox power or does it require another plug attached? too bad the screen is so small do you think a larger one could be modded into it?
