you should do a fresh install. I actually recommend the latest nightly right now as there have been a few fixes since the beta1. Video plugins should be installed from the xbox using the addons4xbox programs plugin.

hey buzz thanks for your help but a noob like me would be really helpful if you guys had a youtube tutorial showing it step by step , cause iv been struggling getting things to work and just installing the builds themselfs..when shown i pick up on it alot faster....i got jans build on there but for the life of me i dont know after bunches of tries how i did it, i was excited and jumping up and down , but i never thought i would have to do it again...it seems i had 2 xbmc folders on there and i named one xbmc and the other xbmc-2..iv taken jans build off and put the 3.3 on and it still loads with the blue xbmc4xbox jan build logo when it launches...but man when it did work it was the best thing on the tv .. i could watch movies and on navi xtreme could watch all kinds of football games at one time

I've done plenty of youtube guides and they should cover what you want (especially the "Update via FTP" and "Installing Addons" ones). I know they are now a bit dated and it's actually on my todo list to make some more up to date ones. In fact I've got a few more I need to do for xbmchub and then the plan is to do some more up to date xbox ones so give it a month or so and they should be up. You can either find my guides on this forum in the tutorial section or just go to my youtube page where there's an xbmc4xbox playlist.

Might be a silly idea but have you checked the network settings in xbmc as sometimes mine defaults to "dashboard" and I have to select DHCP
just a thought

All the best

ive noticed the plugins install very slowly, it took about 10 minutes to install [removed] for me but there seemed to be a lot of dependencies, then it got to [removed], i tried to install icefilms and it said unable to install (a dependency software wouldnt install) then i installed a few more like youtube etc and tried icefilms again, and it worked. but when i run [removed] everything works but the actual videos its pops up script error. same with a lot of other plugins, but this could be my slow internet at the moment. but unless its just traffic cos there is a new release and everyone is congesting the repo or my slow internet, then there might be something like a dependency stopping some plugins installing. the more i think about it though the more i think its just repo congestion and slow internet speeds.

some hosts work, usually only putlocker, filenuke and sockshare work for us but they are causing errors and others are working. i dont know but putlocker didnt seem to even try just script error.

would it matter that i still have the old install still around in cache or something, ive got a folder called jansxbmc and xbmc and ive been using both recently, could they be over writing each others settings, cos when i first started up 3.3 b2 the static ip and dns setting (googles) unique to the xbmc install previous were already in there (dhcp from modem uses opendns for porn filters), or are they totally independent of each other.

just read they had almost a million downloads and the servers were crashing but i think we get ours differently so i dont know if xbmc4xbox plugin repos got hit as hard?

Hi!

To the putlocker error (and Sockshare is the same)!
Go on the addon self to the urlresolver settings and change Realdebrid to off and Putlocker is working again!

Regards jan

I have changed urlresolver to disable rpnet/realdebrid and premiumize me (new plugin) by default now. version number hasn't been bumped so anyone would need to delete/reinstall urlresolver or do a fresh install.
