can i copy 3.2.1 over your build, jan? or will that cause conflicts?

you can t do!
But this build (msy JansXbmc4xbox is a nightly and have a newer ffmpeg(codecs as the stable build) and the confluence light skin works complete!

cheers dude! i'll stick with your build and use addons4xbox installer.

just did a fresh install of your build and can no longer find BBC iplayer, itv player or channel 5 on demand in addons4xbox installer, do you know which repo i would find them in? iplayer definitely still works, i watched stuff on it just a couple of days ago.

iplayer is in hitchers repo, itv player you'll have to google that one and manually download it. Pretty sure Demand 5 isn't working - however I think it might be in nibors repo. 4OD is in mossy's repo.

Thank you for the great work on making a all in one release. I'm running into 2 problems though.
On my old nightly and on my htpc running Xbmc 12 if I click the movies or tv shows button my movies and tv shows appeared sorted on title. If i wanted a different sorting method i used the buttons below the big buttons (on confluence). When I click now I have to select the sorting method first. How do I change this back to the old way of going to the stuff sorted on title immediately?

Also when I play a file in [removed] it starts playing in the background and I have to go to the context menu one the left and click full screen. Can I make it start in the front?

Again thank you for these releases. They save a lot of time fiddling:)

EDIT: will try the fix for [removed] posted by buzz. Just confirming that latest release on page 1 doesn't have the fix included yet.

I'm having problems playing some of my films... they flicker... I think I need to change to a smaller resolution for smoother running, but I cant see how?

If you are using high quality pixel shader version 2; Try version 1 or low quality shader.

Jan, The hulu(3.4.5) version in bluecop's repo works on your build (must disable commercial breaks)

I could never get your hulu plug-in to work.




Also, will you consider adding the tool to your build that deletes video pug-in thumbnails?

I select the file and nothing happens!

Flac files are ok!

Same problem encountered...
Old version is ok for ape playback but can't parse correct partition time from .cue file.

enable full codec support in settings->video->playback (the dvdplayer backend is used for ape support)

Hey,

Is there a possibility to get addons and all xbmc things related to a connection through a proxy working?
The only things which work with proxy enabled are the wheather and RSS, scrapers and addons etc aren't working.
My internet connection can be only established when i set a local http proxy. and only http/s ports are enabled.
But Video addons like laola1.tv and youtube, which are working on same connection on pc should work on xbox ,too.
So I think its not implemented in xbmc and gets the connection directly. When I try to get CD information from online database it says
"Socket Error".

Any chance of a new "Jan's" version soon? I know you guys are working hard on the new 3.3, but I still love the Jan's builds because they are "all-in-one". For me it's just easier to remove the stuff I don't want or use, than to try and add and correctly configure the stuff I do want.

Jan let me tell you thank for your great job. Really well done. However i am wondering if there is a way to fix the freeze that i have just in the middle of nothing....the system it doesnt go frozen during a movie or song playback but just browsing any directory. So if i am choosing the movies on my personal movie library or music libray...the system goes frozen! It doesn't happen all the times but at least the 50% of time. What can i do?

I too would love a new build also. Jan's builds are just ready to go and work out of the box without needed to go grab plugins.

Yes i understand momently i am learning by doing with creating addons for xbmc4xbox!

I understand why you ask but i found the solution with install addons over the addon4xbox Installer is nice and give us a new option on the xbox!
Yes its since not to many addons on the repo but think when i make a new jan's xbmc4xbox its more work!
When i make a new build must it since extrem different in look and feel from the standart Build i must have a little bit more time for this!

The thing is not everybody knows where it's kept. I couldn't remember and I've used xbmc since the days of avalaunch.
Most plugins outside the xbmc4xbox folder don't work so a user feels unsure if to install or not to.
Besides I guarantee most if not all UK users will have BBC iPlayer installed. It would be a huge benefit if it was moved to a more user friendly folder.

Please for all give a vote with % for any addons what he want!

as example Addons: 1.) BBC iPlayer 100%
2.) Youtube Addon 80%
3.) LastFM 90%

as example skins: 1.) confluence light 100%

3) feel as example integrated the trailer- addon the uk charts on the skins and search for movies and youtube videos


i wait a week for your replys!

Then i sort it out and look hat i can do with a new jansxbmc4xbox build what can we say its nice for the users and nice for me!
