Vector graphic, excellent. Now we can have a booth equipped with a fancy banner printed in epic proportions for the future XBMC conventions?

I used to do all my design work in high res PSDs and learned my lesson when the logo was printed on a 11'x55' trailer.

Any more news on this? Did xbmc.org give you the nod to use it?

Not quite. I heard back from someone at xbmc.org who said they had some changes coming up that may or may not affect us, but nothing concrete. I guess we can go ahead and use it for now at least.

might have to make a new logo now kodi 4 xbox?

I have the vector graphics, so essentially any size could be produced. I'll make the files available on the site once I have everything sorted.

As some of you might have already noticed, the branding is already up on this page. Refresh browser cache if the alignment looks wrong. Massive thanks to SwedishGojira for his work on this. I will be adding this logo as the start up splash to the software also.

But, i might be the only one who gets visually annoyed by this, the O in xbox looks weird to me, perhaps because its not connected to the X at the top, but overall I think its a nice fresh new look!

Wow the logo looks fantastic. I like the green lettering, gives it the old xbox feel. Everything these day's seems to be blue in color so this is very nice. I sweet splash screen to match would be fantastic, good work sir's.

splash is already updated in trunk to the new logo I will be pushing out another rc due to rc1 being more buggy than I had hoped, and you can see it then.

If you connect the X to the rest, it look like "xbodc" or something. Not as sweet and easy to read for most people eyes.
