Hi all!
I have been working on a project for quite a while and wanted to share with everyone as I finally got everything finished. I've noticed the vast majority of sites and download links for dashboard / emulator skins are all but gone and wanted to build a skin archive on my website so maybe we could establish a central place where anyone can browse and download skins for free that are not locked behind those ridiculous Mega download links. As well as hopefully relocate and preserve as many of them as possible that are now seemingly lost.
So far I added a little more than 50 skins and took the liberty of getting and adding screenshots of every skin so you can browse through them and download the ones you really want and see what they look like before you download them. You can check out the new skin archive here:
Original Xbox Skin Archive
Feel free to manually copy and paste the web address too:

Also as I said I want to relocate and preserve as many skins as possible. It would be nice to also get some skins together for an Avalaunch and EvoX section but I just don't have many for those dashboards. The Emulator skins in particular seem to have almost completely vanished from the internet at this point as well so I would love to find more of those and get them in this archive for people to download. SO... If you have any skins or a collections of skins, ESPECIALLY for emulators please reach out and contact me here:

Lastly if you are a skin maker I would be happy to also add your skins to this archive and host them for download. Just keep in mind I won't automatically add every skin especially ones with inappropriate themes. Also if there are skins in this archive you or someone you know made feel free to contact me so I can get proper credits added to the original Skin makers!

I cannot applaud you enough! We need more of this mentality right now! The sooner the better .
A smart man once said whats here today is gone tomorrow. And it's started to look that way with the digital age.
Xbmc was my favorite dash when I modded my first box back then.
I have recently realized that majority of all of the internet links for a lot of the favorite sites are gone. I've just re started a forum (very early stages) and a free hosting site mixed with Google drives, and started preserving my hard drive for some type of future use realizing this is sort of frightened me like a whole generations hard work being wiped.
Gfx and proboard skin links all gone and lots of resources being put on sites and behind pay walls like pngcity and PNG tree.
But anyways, just made this account because I wanted to comment and say thank you. And I hope we can start and initiative of preservation among 2002 to let's say 2009. Even then more and more is being removed over time.
By chance do you have more links to your preservation efforts?
