im trying to work this out if i could get some help please ive cooked my original hdd ,so trying to build a new one i went option 2 when it finished i locked the drive put it in my xbxo but it shows e16 what am i doing wrong

Your Xbox cant find the files in the dash to set the clock and because of this it refuses to boot (files on C: are corrupt or missing).
Just put the stock files on the hdd boot up set the clock then go through the modding process again but dont unplug the console from the power or the clock will become unset again.
I'm not 100% sure but a newer softmod installer possibly will boot past that error but I'm not sure someone like rocky5 or hemidal may be able to answer you on that.
most likely you left the console unpowered for some time during the modding process and the clock lost its time.
Alternatively some hardmodded bioses can boot past this error like evoxm8+ and indbios.
