Post Your Xbox Collection!

Post by GoTeamScotch »

Hey all. Just wanted to share a few photos you nerds might find interesting ;)

So a while back I walked into Goodwill and stumbled upon this sight:
Image
There were 2 other out of frame adding up to 8 total. Each one was priced at about $15. Needless to say I walked out with a full cart.

Fun fact: I went back a week later and saw two more but they were priced at $25. I think I changed the market value of them. lol. No sale!

A few days later...

All in all, over 3 days of stocking up here's the scene:

All of this is separate from the ones I already had on hand. :D

To speed things up, I wrote a script for UnleashX (and made a skin!) and burned it to a disc.

I think right now I'm at like 19 boxes. Maybe I'll take the time to get a shot of them altogether but these photos are the only ones I have ready.

That's all from me for now.

Post your collection!

42 machines @ $7 each and a LogiTech wireless controller thrown in. That should see me good for a few months i guess.
Credit to Xman; the post was called "I was running short of xboxes, so i bought some!"

Yes I sell them, normally cleaned with new thermal paste on CPU & GPU, DVD drive cleaned, and TSOPed with a bigger hard drive :)

Wow, $7 a piece for all those? That's a really good deal. I guess it helps to buy in bulk.

I actually just recently started refurbing/modding/selling again after a long hiatus for work but I used to get a good amount of interest from people while now it seems more difficult in my area. Craigslist, Facebook friends, and word of mouth are how I advertise but its slow going. How do you get word out?

I post here in the marketplace, and on other forums, ebay but not modded stuff, and ebid who don't have such strict rules as ebay :)
Xboxes don't sell that quickly nowdays :( I'm in the UK btw, I have sold to Europe, USA not so much mainly because of the voltage difference.
