42 machines @ $7 each and a LogiTech wireless controller thrown in. That should see me good for a few months i guess.

I wish I could find deals like that!!!!!

Mind you I would get shot if i turned up with them lot.

They look in fairly good nick too, best deal i had was 13 for 7 dollars all up but some were in bad shape, out of the lot i think i got 9 runners made up of 6 slims as the dvd drives were toast.

I've bought Xboxes off these guys before but this was the first time I bought so many in one hit. All the ones in the past have only had issues with the DVDrives either not reading or not ejecting/ loading. All the non reading ones in the past lots have only required cleaning of the lens. These were all trade in machines that had to be at least be clean externally so that is a good thing. I opened up all the ones that had already been opened at some time just to see what I really had. It was like Christmas for me. This is what I know I have just opening the ones with obvious broken seals.

Machine type Hard drive size Modchip
1.6 120GB Aladdin Super Live
1.6 120GB Apple X III
1.1 40GB Excutor 2.6
1.3 stock Aladdin 4032
1.0 80GB Aladdin Super Live
1.3 stock Aladdin Advance
1.0 500GB DuoX2 Lite

I know I'm now going to need more chips, HDDs, controllers and AVI cables but these are a good start. I figure I sell 2 modded machines and I'm ahead. I also think if I go back and start pushing machines I'll move these without any real issues. As I was running out of machines to sell, I was only selling to
people that really asked for them. I was actually turning people away over the last 3 months. Now I will contact them and ask if they need more. :D

I mod and then sell them, a lot of them. Soon to be a lot more of them I guess. I am not a collector. The house has it's quota of 7 machines that are in use.

They are dealers of consoles. They also want to buy some of the Xboxes back once they are fully working but they must be stock, Most of these units only have DVDrive issues. They sell the stock units for around $100. They also have just about every type of console ever made in there shop. That is there business. Unfortunately they risk loosing there license to trade if they deal in modded machines.

Interesting that all those which you've opened have modchips - none of them TSOPed or softmod (opened for hard disc-upgrade).

I have only opened those that had obviously been opened before. Those ones I listed were only the ones with modchips or larger HDDs. Others that had been opened and I opened to check were

2 X 1.0,
1 X 1.1,
2 X 1.4,
2 X 1.6

Seeing as these had stock HDDs and no modchips, I sort of assumed them to be stock machines. Only booting them up will confirm this. I'm not expecting that to be the last of the modded ones either. It was common practice to "steam" the factory seals off while modding to preserve the stock look of the machine. That is exactly what I will do when I do repairs for the "returns" I do. The next step will be to boot all the machines and then I will have a better idea. Some of these machines are in amazing condition cosmetics wise and they would be the cases I will target for potential returns but I will also lean towards returning the 1.0, 1.1 and 1.6 machines. 1.0s because I think the noisy small fan suks, the extra step to remove the solder in the LCPD ports and the single row power supply connector as with the 1.1s. The 1.6s because of the extra step rebuilding the LCPD port and there unique power supply and connector wiring. Having this many machines, I would like to somewhat standardize the machines and using 1.2-1.4 machines means one type of power supply. I also suspect I will be TSOPing a lot of these machines seeing as I can't get 10 Aladdin modchips for $90 any longer.

That is a realistic price....

Price:
US $36.00 / lot
10 pieces / lot , US $ 3.60 / piece
Approximately AU $48.24 / lot

Shipping:
US $6.32to Australia via HongKong Post Air Mail
Delivery: 15-45 days (ships out within 30 business days)

Quantity:
lots (990 lots available)

Total Price:
US $78.32 (Approximately AU $104.94)

That is about $5 each in my currency. I'd be after 20 all up to start with I'm thinking. Pity they don't take PayPal but there ad does assure money back guarantee. Have you tried this company in the past?. Does your new chip allow for TSOPing after booting with the XBlast by chance?. That may be a better way for me. Even if it doesn't do all types of Xbox, as you can see, I now have multiples of every type.
psyko_chewbacca wrote: I do have a few units converted to Aladdin XBlast lying around somewhere.
Could you do a large quantity at a realistic price?. It could go towards you next run of Xblast chips. How does the Aladdin Xblast differ from your normal Xblast. For this particular project, all 42 of them, just a nice simple chip is what I'm after.
