Designed and built a new batch of the Xerc2. It is about 20% smaller as my last design and a bit tidier.
I also changed the way how the pad names are applied so they are now a shiny gold surface.
Other than that they are the same Xerc2 as the last batch including the LED fader and IR-sharing so you can install the IR-dongle and Xerc2 using the same small ir-receiver.
You can take a look at my new PCB design here:
The price for one of them is 13€ including the necessary ir-receiver.
International shipping is possible for a price of 4€!

Re: Xerc2 even smaller!
as ussual good work there once i have some pennies saved might get one of these
quick question though if i have an official xbox dvd remote does it run thorugh the included ir reciever or do i still use the dvd dongle just curious about the usage of it after its fitted
unrelated question
do you make your own pcbs or do you order from a company cause i have a project im working on and could use pointers for a cheap pcb maker in the future

Re: Xerc2 even smaller!
Do you have instructions available to show how you're meant to connect this up? I'm interested in getting one but given my soldering skills I want to see how difficult a job it is! Cheers
Re: Xerc2 even smaller!
Just take a look at the website of the original designer here: http://diy.sickmods.net/Our_Products/XERC_2/Install_It/
Sadly they stopped selling stuff a while back and that's why i did my own layout so everyone has an easier to install version.
It really is easy to install, every pin is big and the solder pads on the Xerc2 are easy to solder to and pretinned to make it even easier.
The most work is placing the IR-receiver as you need to find the best spot to place it.
