Hey, i tried viewing images from my nas on the xbox and it just comes up with a black screen, the images display properly on a 360 and a pc, also i can view videos easily from my nas so its just xbmc not supporting the pictures for some reason.

tis a bug / regression / unsupported feature. Please open a ticket for this one at redmine - http://redmine.exotica.org.uk/projects/xbmc4xbox/. upstream fix is https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/pull/486 - I guess we need something similar. many thanks.

Welcome. The speed of the fix was related to to ease of implementing the fix. We lacked some stuff from xbmc, that just needed backporting.

I don't have time to read all forum posts, so things can get missed. If things are clearly bugs the bugtracker is the best place to report them for my attention. Anyway it is fixed now, so it really doesn't matter where it was reported first 
PS. you should also post full debug logs via pastebin or similar when reporting issues.

It's good that it's fixed now.. I'm seeing this accross the platform and board for xbmc.. All os / builds 
incl xbmc4xbox..
Ofcourse when I go to test now I start having issues getting MiniDLNA server to show up in xbmc4xbox as usual..
Fixed and confirmed.. I started a slideshow..
