I also have a load of them if they are any good to anyone or even you nidge?

I'm sure all of them are unlocked, some are formatted and some have xbmc installed, I have absolutely no need for them whatsoever. I will chuck them on ebay and sell as a job lot if nobody wants them. Really all I want is the postage paid and if you want to buy me a drink then that's always nice ;)

Thanks for the offer lee, but have enough already :D
I do like to have one or two to hand just to test that an xbox is working, or to try out new stuff. But I have too many atm.
Pity we can't find a use for them, doorstops maybe, or paperwieghts? ;) Mind you paperless offices nowdays
Perhaps we should start a new thread 101 things to do with an old 8gb hard drive?

You could have a 2 disc DVD rip per drive :D figure out some sort of hot swap system and it'd be like a bizarre parallel universe where they never invented optical storage  Imagine that, from VHS to spinning magnetic platters stored in VHS sized boxes. Ok so I put a bit too much thought into that :P

a hippy bead style curtan with disk platters or a wind chime.

I once used an xbox case as a leaf catcher for a drain in a flat i was at everyone commented on it it stopped the flooding under the portch.

have you seen the episode of myth busters where they made a death ray with mirrors :-) how many hard disks do you have ?

Not seen that episode but I do like the sound of having my own death ray. To be honest even if we have an xbmc4xbox community shared death ray I could live with that... currently I could get a lot of use out of that!

Between us we must have enough to build something :D
