Light mod

Hello,

I got a standard unmodifed crystal xbox (only soft-modded)

But i want lights in it, like this:

How do i do this? And what do i need for this?

Damn dude, I thought so I recognize the picture.

You can buy the PCB with green or white LED in it.

Just use 12V from HDD/DVD power cable or directly from PSU (yellow is +12V, black is 0V).

And since it's a Crystal case DONT use super glue to secure the lights, this will melt the plastic of the lid and ruin the look of it forever. Use a thin bead of hot glue or some kind of double sided tape.

Hard Way (not so hard really)

Easy Way but the light will probably go out in a few months, maybe more.

I would recommend these, you can cut them into small strips that would fit directly under the jewel and they are flat. You can keep the lid shielding intact and just cut a small hole in the shielding to run the wires directly under the jewel. Should work great.
