#31720 | 03/04/2013 11:53 pm | buzz | updated: libdvd files from xbmc mainline (4.2.0)
# changed: switch back from dvdnav_jump_to_sector_by_time (no longer needed) - blade runner disc 2 that used to seek incorrectly without this additional function now is ok.
# updated: new libdvd dlls
I apologize in advance, however, I was wondering if you (B4K3D PI) could make a PC build of the latest nightly. Phaze, feel free to delete this post since this falls under the request category but couldn't determine where else to ask.

#31731 | 03/12/2013 10:42 pm | buzz | changed: disable LIBMAD and use ffmpeg for mp3 decoding (tried this before but ffmpeg's mp3 support was problematic. our ffmpeg has been updated a fair amount since then, and so far my testing has shown it to be ok, so let's see the user feedback)
#31730 | 03/12/2013 10:28 pm | buzz | added: bink (.bik) and MPEG SofDec (mpeg1) (.sfd) extensions for dvdplayer.
#31729 | 03/12/2013 08:27 pm | buzz | added: xmv extension support for dvdplayer - xmv demuxer is supported by our ffmpeg.
#31728 | 03/09/2013 07:48 pm | buzz | cosmetic: update copyright date in GPL headers

Thanks
WIN32 3.2.1 Stable is now available from the second post of this thread. The latest nightly is broken when compiled for WIN32.
I will need to report it on the bugtracker when i have a chance so buzz can fix it.

#31733 | 24/03/2013 01:40 am | buzz | renamed: keymap filename too long for xbox.
#31732 | 23/03/2013 11:44 pm | buzz | added: Better 128MB support - set MTRRDefType memory type to write-back as done in other XBox apps - seems a bit of a hack as really the MTRRDefType should be uncachable and the mtrr/mask for ram instead set up for 128MB with writeback as is done in cromwell. Seems to work but needs further testing.
listening to music plugins, very slowly working on other plugins (also music), helps only restart. The problem from the 31686 or 31687 (I do not remember).

#31743 | 04/08/2013 12:16 am | buzz | added: reload keymaps on mce/universal remote config change.
#31742 | 04/07/2013 11:51 pm | buzz | added: gui config for MCE/Universal remote, with additional <remote name="mce> keymap settings, to make better use of extra keys/number keypad - eg, number keypad for seeking to position in video rather than 3/6 handling volume.
#31741 | 04/07/2013 08:03 pm | buzz | merged: xbmc mainline
# 2a317ef0 (with changes) - changed: map enter/select buttons to select in fullscreen video, to aid in entering timecodes.
# f5508604 (with changes) - changed: Introduce a <VideoTimeSeek> block to keymaps to handle the Select/Enter key during fullscreen video.
#31740 | 04/07/2013 06:22 pm | buzz | merged: xbmc mainline bf2329fd - added: Ticket #9680 - Better timecode based seeking in videos, thanks to David Byers
Is development possible on Linux machines? I'd like to help out, but I abhor Windows (it doesn't even work well on my PC), and only use Linux (Arch Linux, to be specific ).

short answer: no
longer answer: no, unless you install windows in virtualbox (which is what I do)
Noticed a glitch or something when testing the latest nightly.
When you go into pictures & viewing an image, when you exit the image your taken back to the main 'pictures' folder in XBMC rather than back to whatever folder you were viewing.

with the128MB Ram support ican test my main xbmcaddons on xmc4xbox to!
the xmc4xbox works smother as the 12.2 Frodo Build on my AppleTV 2 and with a little more CPU Power (I could get the HD streams from my main xbmc -addons enjoy)
nice work! giving 3.3 a go just now, is anyone else finding that addons4xbox installer is worse than ever for crashing while downloading plugins? am on my fourth attempt at installing [removed] and once again it's hung while downloading a .png file. is it just the time of day i'm trying to use it?
might be. the files are hosted at google code, and it's not always that quick. having said that, I've not had any freezes when installing larger plugins. Probably best to open a new thread for specific issues though rather than here btw.
