XBMC4Xbox

Hi guys, I found this website http://www.viewster.com/
You can LEGALLY stream, in the UK anyway, Movies and TV Shows. Alright not the newest blockbusters, but quite a few titles, including Anime, Drama, Comedy, Sci-Fi and more.
Read the "Welcome to veiwster!" statement at the bottom of the home page for details.

So all you need to sign up is an email address and a password, then you can watch on your PC or Tablet.

BUT, and here's the best bit, IT WORKS ON THE ORIGINAL XBOX!!!

I created an account on my PC first, then installed the plugin by FTPing to the xbox and unzipping through the Addons4Xbox installer in Programs/Plugins.

Fully working on XBMC4xbox 3.5, at time of writing.

The download link you posted is no longer working; however, the addon can be found and downloaded it from the Viewster Repo (GitHub); once that is done, you can simply extract it and FTP it to the plugins->video folder in xbmc.

Works flawlessly, with 12MB of memory to spare ; just watched two anime episodes.

FYI: i don't know what the account will do, perhaps more options, but I've played videos without one... that's not to discourage anyone from creating one, I just didn't need it for my testing purposes.

any chance this addon could be updated to work again as it no longer works on my xbox?

Looks like it's broken I keep checking for new versions, but no luck so far.

yup its broken at least atm, plenty of other 'alternatives' to get that sort of content anyways dont want to break any rules by mentioning plugins here but any one who's used the xbox like me for quite some time will already know what im talking about

Viewster is working on XBMC4Xbox 3.5.3

However the audio seems to be out of sync? I've tried altering the settings by changing the audio delay, but it doesn't seem to help that much
Does screen resolution have an impact on the sound? My Xbox is set to HD 720p.

Does it work in UK only ?

It's uncertain; there's only one way to find out, give it a try and let us know...
