Updating XBMC4Xbox 3.1
Updating XBMC4Xbox 3.1
Hey guys, I recently dusted off my old Xbox, and I'm trying to get it fighting fit again. One thing that's bugging me is that when I attempt to use the SVN Installer plugin, it no longer works. It seems this plugin was abandoned in favour of XBMC4Xbox Installer, but how do I install this? Cheers.
EDIT: Just to be clear, the Addons4Xbox Installer does not appear to be working either.

It's the same, it has just been renamed. I've added a zip download option, extract on your PC and then upload into Q:\plugins\programs.

Ah awesome, thanks.
Running the new software gave me a garbled pop-up once I selected a build and hit install.

Ok, you seem to be using a custom skin (Confluence - Wizard Edition Clearart) - switch to one of the standard skins first, then go to the plugin, press "white" button and choose "Plugin settings" and set the path where to install it (e.g. E:\Apps). Then run again and use as normal.

Re: Updating XBMC4Xbox 3.1
Sorry, I think I used some kind of weird package to install, as I've never gone to the trouble of manually installing a skin. I tried a few skins and they didn't work, but PM3.HD worked. Cheers.
Re: Updating XBMC4Xbox 3.1
One last issue, I got to the point of installing a new XBMC in E:\Apps
But when I tell XBMC4Xbox to set the current session as default, it tells me I don't have a x2config.ini or shortcut.cfg file. What does this mean? I have a feeling I know, I think XBMC is installed wonky, as the installation involves simply slamming XBMC into the C:\ drive and renaming it's xbe to xboxdash.xbe. I think I took a shortcut I shouldn't have somewhere.

Re: Updating XBMC4Xbox 3.1
You need to find out how your Xbox is modded and how it starts your current XBMC - you can look around on all partitions for .xbe files and try to run them from XBMC4Xbox File Manager and see which starts XBMC4Xbox.
X2config.ini is a configuration file for Xboxes with Xecuter2 mod-chips, and te .cfg file is for ones using Team XBMC Shorcut method.
