Please test out mainbranch addons with the latest beta build of XBMC4Xbox (v3.5) and submit status on here of working or not working. If you could also add details of the repository you installed from that will be great, thanks.

Update on Project Free TV:

When I first installed it on my test XBMC install of 3.5 Beta I got an error message saying that a "common .addon" module was missing or something like that. So, having not installed [removed] yet I thought maybe [removed] might install the missing module and after I installed [removed] I tried Project Free TV again and it was working.( I felt like some kind of genius after that. lol). But unfortunately, that is not the case as I have not been able to replicate what I did before to get it working. I still have it working on my test install but can not get it working on any other installations as I get the same missing module message.

I found a few more working addons that I will post tomorrow.

I think your mean script. common.plugin.cache.
This holding the Storagesever and Storaggeserverdummy.
On the stable xbmc4xbox was that not working and we have handle all over a seperate storageserverdummy.py on the addon self.
I have it not tested on the Beta 3.5 1 build!
The common.plugin.cache addon is a Service addon what by the start from xbmc run.
The only Solution to make the same (Service addons since not working on xbmc4xbox) is we autostart this addon but i think this is for the hardware limited xbox1 not or bad working.
Most addon developer look not backward as example the jtv-archive Developer implemented no more the fallback to the storageserverdummy and the storageserverdummy on the addon self is not working that is easy to fix to bring it to work on xbmc4xbox but it can not work out of the box!

I couldn't get the latest version of [removed] to work. I can get all the way up to the point where you pick the desired host for the episode you want to watch, and it loads for a bit, but then it fails.

Where did you find the "Project Free TV" link by the way? I can't find it anywhere.

You need to add the Eldorado repo for Project Free TV, but I had the same issue as snowdogged

Addon freeTv and all newer urlresolver addons and Version.

Sorry for the misunderstanding.

The script.module.addon.common is the new better version for t0mm0's old script.module.t0mm0.common.
What is a dependencies for all newer urlresolver addon.
We want it only on this addon to import Addon and Net from it .

in theory we can that import over the old t0mmo script module but I have not tested this and do not know if eldorado used in his new addon newer functions which is not present in the old script.module. But I do not think so.

In order to get Project Free TV working you will have to download this zip file and extract the folder from it and ftp the folder into the Scripts/.modules folder.

what for a wonder the scriptmodule.addon.common is for me not compatible with xbmc4xbox (3.5 Beta 1)
you can watch a movie or season?
i think not ( anyway with the metahandler enabled is it not a addon what can bring fun then its scrape a verry long time to access the poster fanart and description on mainxbmc what is then the time on the verry limited xbox1)

Project Free TV does not work that well but that is the same experience that I have on the pc version of Project Free TV on XBMC. I've always found that most of the links are dead. I've gotten some of the movies to play but I would not use it. Try using VideoPhile which has the metahandler enabled. It's really not that slow and is quite enjoyable to be able to read the movie descriptions and rating and most of the movies play very well.

i mean the scriptmodule.addon.common give a scripterror on xbmc4xbox (3.5 beta 1)
it is easy to make a own addon from this site all (its not a magic)

here a simple python example from me to parse the hoster views for a movie this give the hoster name , the url to access on the link the urlresolver working link the thumb and description.

Code: Select all

import urllib2
import re

url='http://www.free-tv-video-online.me/movies/2008/100_million_bc.html'
#url='http://www.free-tv-video-online.me/movies/2004/national_treasure.html'
content=urllib2.urlopen(url).read()
desc=re.search('"plot">(.*?)</div>',content,re.S)
description=desc.group(1)
thu=re.search('<img id="vposter".*?src="(.*?)"',content,re.S)
thumb=thu.group(1)
spl=content.split('class="mnllinklist')
if len(spl)>1:
    for i in range(1,len(spl),1):
      entry=spl[i]
      visitedmatch=re.compile("visited\((.*?)\)'", re.DOTALL).findall(entry)
      urlmatch=re.compile('href="(.*?)"', re.DOTALL).findall(entry)
      hostmatch=re.compile(r'Host: (.*?)<br/>', re.DOTALL).findall(entry)
      title=hostmatch[0]+'  '+visitedmatch[0]+' views'
      host=hostmatch[0]
      url=urlmatch[0]
      print title
      print url
      print#
print thumb
print#
print description

Thought I would give this a go. Will the proven working add-ons be added to the 'get XBMC4XBOX add-on' directory? I've been finding them difficult to find. I got a copy of Projectfreetv and added the module but nothing seems to be actually playing though I can see into all the directories.
Google picture search works again which is nice. Tgun works and plays SD live TV quite well (some channels like BBC have the same restrictions that are present on iPlayer and other video add-ons). IGN.com currently works if the setting are set to SD and that didn't work before. Videobull is still not working here in the UK, shame that Projectfreetv doesn't seem to be working as it has much much more on it.

I tried 1-link movies, OnlineMoviesPlayer, Entertainment Hub, One Click Watch and Zmovies all grant immediate access to everything on the directories but I haven't managed to get anything to actually play due the cache instantly filling, the console locking up or the sources not being current.

Hi Guys :)
Not sure if this is the right place to post this? But I have had ITVPlayer running on my Xbox for well over a year now and it still works :D
I am running XBMC4xbox 3.5 Beta. I don't see it in any of the repositories?

Here's a link, if any one wants to try it out.
