use the other plugin for the pay per views thats in this forum to watch ppv stuff. I have the same issue as you with the ustvnow recordings.

Compatible:
Shoutcast (xbmc4xbox)
eBaumsWorld.com (mainline)
TheOnion.com (mainline) - not updated much anymore though
... And ...
Hulu (bluecop)
- login works
- set to akamai
- turn off network preroll and commercial breaks
- 1200 kbps quality is the highest I recommend

MLBMC is also working. Got the subscription logged and tested it. I have it set to 500k stream. Opening day soon
