version numbers

Hi, Just wondering is there is a way of telling what versions of any scripts or plug-ins I have installed?

Some specify the version in the code (their default.py), others in the description.xml, if installed by Addons4Xbox. Finally, some display their versions in Q:\xbmc.log when you run them, either on Normal or in Debug mode, see more here: http://www.xbmc4xbox.org.uk/forum/viewt ... p?f=6&t=65

I can recommend the Notepad plugin I wrote so you can view these files from your XBMC4Xbox, otherwise you will need to check them from your PC, either from original download or transfer through FTP from your Xbox. http://www.xbmc4xbox.org.uk/addons/

Thanks Dan That'll help me keep track of the plug-ins. I was kinda hoping the version number colud be displayed by selecting from a drop menu, pressing the black or white button on the controller or something like that? Anyway thanks again, I can now check that I am up to date
