Re: quantum redshift will not load
Quantum Redshift is one of the games which has a known problem displaying at 480p on v1.6 Xboxes. So if you are using a v1.6 and a Component cable at 480p then that is almost certainly the problem.
There are ways to get around this by using particular loaders with such games but you're lucky because well known forum member here and general Xbox guru Rocky5 actually wrote a XBMC script a couple of years ago to patch many of these games.
The good thing is that they're all individually patched so even if you use another main dash once the script is run all the games will still display at 480p on a v1.6 whatever you use.

The Chimp (261812) issue may be a similar ED/HD display problem too. If you're using Chimp with a Component cable try not using 480p/720p ie. use 480i (if the TV/screen supports 480i via Component) or a SD cable type (Composite AV, S-Video or SCART) and see if that cures it.
I'm not sure if this trouble is Xbox version specific or not but it is commonly reported with Chimp. Using a SD resolution/cable type is the recommended advice.
