Is ISO transfer restricted on xbmc4xbox?

Ever since I moved from xbmc to xbmc4xbox I've not been able to directly transfer ISO files across with Qwix/xISO - they try and connect, but just end up hanging.
If I use another launcher, they work fine and I can transfer away with no problems.
I'm just wondering if xbmc4xbox restricts ISO transfers or if I'm just missing something?

Aparently, not a new problem - use with Avalaunch or UnleashX.

You could get Avalaunch as an app, run it from XBMC4Xbox File Manager or favourites or the likes whenever you want to transfer ISOs contents and benefit from the boost mode.

When combined with Avalaunch, Qwix has the ability to upload ISO's to your xbox at speeds much faster than you could achieve with a normal FTP client. I am surprised the Avalaunch site is still up...

I wonder where I can find info to run a skin and gamesave server. it would be nice to see how to provide a skin server for UnleashX too
