Best XBMC Encoding Settings?

Hello All,

What does everyone use here to encode DVDs or Blu Rays? What settings are you using? I am buying a trusty 1.4 / 128 xbox and I was wondering if someone could patiently walk me through the encoding process.

I am utterly amazed that in the three years you've been a member of this forum you haven't read the third topic in the Guides and Tutorials section...

You may notice while I have joined ages ago I have rarely been on these forums. I'll read the guide and post questions later. I will note I turned to google first but most results pointed to a dead Xbox forum. I apologize for my ineptitude!
