A really nice feature from Eden is "automatic movie sets"...
Actually I indexed all my movies using English titles because themoviedb.org scraper on XBMC4XBOX (using 3.3-DEV-31377) scans in English only
And after scan I exported library data as separate files directly under movies/ dirs structure (this is needed by some script that check for missing contents and so on)
This morning I had an idea...
- installed v.11 (Eden) on win
- scan my movies using Italian TMDB
- export library as separate files (as usual)
- rescan from XBOX (the scraper found local *.nfo file and import from them, the same as manually edit for adding SET tag, but much faster )
Failed at point 3 (export library from win). Before you ask:
- permissions are corrects (xbmc can write *.nfo file)
Maybe xbmc on win use a different format of layout schema? Exporting as one big file (on local disk) works, but this means a lot of post processing (xml -> shell script -> original path -> split and write in the right place) and files names are different from sources (examples: movies/This is a film.avi become This_is_a_film.nfo, am I missing something obvious?)
Is my idea totally wrong?
Is possible to have "automatic movie set" as a native xbmc4xbox function?
Is possible to "update/enhance" themoviedb scraper to find Italian titles?
How can I help?
Thanks in advance.
