Hi all,

Can anyone give me a guide as how to use xbmc.

Looking to add games, emulators & movies to the library from my xbox but don't know how to go about it

Any help would be appreciated

See if you can find some tutorials to get you started here:

And also maybe check out the video tutorials at TotalXBMC.com - you can start with Xbox section, but just as well you can look a bit for inspiration in the other sections. Although the Xbox version lags behind in terms of certain features, the basic idea is the same.

Might be a good idea to search the forums first for specific problems and also ask them separately. What you're asking is a fairly large task even for someone that knows it all to deliver that in person, you can only imagine what that means to type all that in here.

The Games and Emulators part is fairly straight forward so I'll go at it - go to Programs section, add a source called "Games" and add the location(s) to where you keep your games (e.g. F:\Games). Same goes for "Emulators". Next time when you go into Games or Emulators you'll see them there.

For Videos / Movies, similarly you need to add a "source" with the location(s) where you have your media - can be on your Xbox or on local network shares. Then you can go at it through Videos (files mode) or Movies (library mode).
