new xbox wierd problem

i have recieved an xbox 1.6
it flashes orange green but works perfect i have video and audio cheked the cable etc mobo look alsow perfect
when i go in to xbmc i turn off the fron led it gose red flashing when
every thing works perfect playing weeks with it games movies etc no shutdowns no wierd anything just the led maybe the front panel led is broken or buggy ??
temps are stable at 35 celcius cpu gpu 25 C
when i turn off the front ledd in xbmc i turns half red ??
when i choose red in xbmc its red
when i choose orangen is half orange and half wierd looking orange like brown orange
when i choose green in xmbc its half orangen half green not flashing

but every thing is working perfect booting games movies

Have you removed the board from the front panel and inspected it for damage? you will have to peel the black sticker off it to see the circuits,it's quite vulnerable to being kicked up the front of the Xbox, whilst your in there check that the yellow cable is fully home in its sockets both ends.

Iv had this before and it only ever happened on 2 xboxs and it ONLY started doing it after softmodding it! I dont know why and I dont know what caused it. But like you say your xbox runs perfect.
I dont care if someone wants to argue softmodding wouldnt of done it because it did twice lol

i chekked the front panel dont see any broken solder or cable every thing look oke
cleaned everything still does the same doesnt matter i leave the light red in xbmc if it works it works

Very weird, lol.

I've done a few 1.6's ( other peoples, i hate them ) never had this but i always use Sid 3.0 that i got from http://www.xbox-hq.com/html/ a long time ago, always worked fine, I have never used hexen or anything else.

try re soft modding it with another softmod.

its not softmod allad chip i chekked for bat solders eveything looks oke
