To see what your set is receiving from the Xbox, simply press "info" (or similar key) on your television's remote.

I believe you'll have to use component cables and go to the stock dash to switch aspect ratio to widescreen; then reboot and select 720p in the xbmc settings.

Hi guys,

I know this an old post, but I'm having problems with using NTSC and 480p etc... I can't find anything with google or this forum.

I used Unleashx dashboard to change my system from PAL to NTSC. This then enables the 480p, 720p, 1080i options, but when I change it NTSC and reboot everything seems to have a shadow or a double behind it. I can see the the image is sharper, but everything, including the Unleashx dashboard, has this doubling behind it.

Hope that makes sense.

Any help appreciated.

If you mean ghosting, check your component cable. Is it twisted up? Is it good quality? Is it running next to other signal or power cables?
