Lock screen on SMB Browser

Hi Guys
This problem is entirely of my own making but the problem is I don't know how to undo it
A few days ago I upgraded my NAS and since then XBMC couldn't see any smb shares on the network even though other devices could see them fine, the rest is a long painful exercise in frustration that got me nowhere except now when I browse for smb shares I'm presented with a lock screen looking for a username and password, I've never seen this screen before and I have no idea how to get rid of it, I've been through the settings and can't find any way to remove it and get it back to the way it was
