1.2 Tsop Fuzzy lines, wish to go back to rocky5 dash

Post by Kennethk »

So I have a couple thing I TSOP'd a 1.2 and flashed it with Evox I'm getting some flashy lines, this was a old dust build I don't know if just replacing the thermal paste will make them go away. I took air duster to it as much as I could. My other thought is it could be the hdmi adapter but it worked fine in the past.

I'd also like to revert back to rocky5 but when I run makeiso.bat it gives a message saying this is for people that know what they're doing and doesn't processed to make the iso. If I install another dash the lines seem to go away I guess it's because some just don't support 720p.

Another thing with this adapter it was playing games in wide screen, the dash it's self runs wide-screen fine but when I go into game play it displays 4:3 so I'm curious if theirs a way to edit config files to force games into wide-screen mode without have to stretch my TV settings.

Do you have a picture of the display with the flashy lines?

Try to turn down the sharpness and play with the flicker filter on the xbox. I recently had an issue with a wii adaptor with the sharpness seytting on my tv causing dots on diaginal lines.
