Fanart for Sources

Is it possible to add fanart to sources in xbmc? I'm using the xbmc new origins skin and have several sources setup (Games, Emulators, Homebrew, etc...), when I highlight them, I would like the background to change similar to highlighting a game. I have tried placing a fanart.jpg file within the folder as well as creating the _resources/artwork folder and placing the fanart.jpg file within those folders as well but have had no luck. Is there a way to add fanart inside the sources.xml file? if so what is the line I should type? Or is there another way to set a background for each specific source when highlighted? Thanks!
