Getting the best from 128mb xbox

Hi guys, thanks to the Marketplace on here I have managed to secure a 128mb xbox. Apart from the brilliant Virtua Cop 3, can anyone tell me how I can get the best out of my box in terms of video playback and skinning options etc? I have quite a lot of Bluray rips in .avi format which already run fine on a 64mb box. What can the extra ram do better?
PS - Can a box with extra ram have any size ide drive fitted depending on bios? I know there is a limit with debug boxes.
Thanks in advance.

Here's one for using more memory (or could try and increase the memory caches in Settings > Video):

I guess also having more RAM you could use heavier skins or run the XBMC4Xbox in 1080 mode.

And here's one for a 2TB disk upgrade - I don't think there's any relation between the amount of memory and supported disk size:

If you search the forums you might find more.

I'll even sweeten the pot a bit this week. I will install a SmartXX V2 chip instead of the Executor 2.6. It's a much nicer chip indeed with more space for bios. I'll include a SmartXX cd with the xebian distro on it. AND I'll include the smartXX usb adaptor which will allow you to connect a usb keyboard to your new xbox for running linux!
