hey buzz, i've noticed that on the new nightly builds you've named them as version 3.5 , just out of curiosity why haven't you named it as 3.4?

Because I thought it deserved a larger version number jump due to the number of changes.

If you ask me, the new Python and addon system deserves a damn well major version increment! Good work, Buzz.

well, if the addons stuff ever gets finished it will be 4.0. but we will go there via python 2.7 which is in trunk.

I see, fair enough - breaking it down into two separate releases might make it easier to develop / manage.
If there is talk of 3.5 release, that might deserve it's own thread (even if at beta stage) ;-)

As soon as I have squashed a few more bugs, I will be doing an alpha release. was planned before xmas, but is a bit delayed due to some issue fixing, and me deciding to update dvdplyer.
