xbmc4xbox vs. xbmc4android

what do you think runs better? the custom android seems ok with mx player but does it run better then xbmc4xbox?

Depends what you use it for. Android still has a few little bugs whereas xbmc4xbox is very stable. It also depends on which android box you go for as to speed but I would say the following:

Android pro's:
Full hd playback
All mainbranch addons work
Faster navigation (depending on the device specs)
Ability to use as a mini pc (browse web etc.)
Can plug in external HDD.
Very small and has built-in WiFi
Officially supported by team xbmc so it's only going to get better.

Xbox pro's:
Very cheap
Can play DVDs
Xbmc4xbox is very stable
Great for gaming (although so is android but Xbox original games are very good)

well i was thinking of geting a xbox with xbmc on it, on ioffer. but the guy didnt know what icefilms was? so im thinking he uses the old xbnc.

If your main purpose is to stream content then I'd personally go for mainbranch, probably raspberry pi or android. We don't have many developers for this platform so the choice of addons are limited as they all need code changed to work on the good old xbox. There are some good ones available though ([removed], icefilms, streamallthis, videobull, navi-x etc.).

i know i should go to the android but for some reasonson, i keep wanting to go with the xbox. cuz i have the android xbmc on phone. the xbox seems to luck alot, my guess you use it for gaming?
