Hello, i did something in Corel Draw X5. I did this:

If you think that this logo sucks - please comment And of course, if there will be any ideas, I will read them with pleasure.


PS: Buzz, if you like this, tell me a size of current logo. I will do the same size

But I rather see it with a Logitech wireless controller.

And I think the word "old" is so negative.

We should be happy that the first xbox is still life and kicking.

I agree with RoyalX's points and suggest the word old be replaced with "Enhanced".

It doesn't suck at all, it look good very simple and clean exactly as I like it. But that's a banner not a logo.

The difference is that you cannot use a banner to build a website, a XBMC4XBOX skin or any other things like that.. its pretty much just a forum signature image.
It should also have an alpha channel and not be square or rectangle. (PNG)

What if we built on the old banner from before the site got erased and relocated?
IMO, it could use a bit of improvement, but only in the colors of the text.


Offtopic: is this the only forum that we get to make post icons in?

It didnt look very good IMO, 2002ish graphics. We all have our preferences, but me and I think BuZz like the simplicity (like at the moment).

As i was explaining xman on teamspeak couple days ago, take a look at the confluence light background, that is some professional graphics..
Meanwhile some people want to replace it...
A school kid can make a banner like the old one, a real joke. It take a graphical designer with several years of practice to make something like the confluence light background or an android wallpaper like this one: http://img42.imageshack.us/img42/3034/bubblewp1c.jpg

Suggestion /patches are always welcome if they are pertinent, if they are judged good by us they will be added.

Maybe a play off the screenshot posted at the beginning of the thread with a sort of IOS7 look? I don't know why, but it's just a really cool look to me.
