Thanks for your reply!

As i remember right this baby makes you busy since years, right?
;)

I took a quick look at the sources.
Is it possible to speed up the zoom effect when choosing a button?

Years? not likely... i was doing the original nxe metro; then around july of last year, i started on the new nxe twist when i saw the screenshots... again, i often don't work on this weeks on end; i loose interest rather quickly :)

I'm not sure what you mean by "zoom effect when choosing a button?"

Negative... No laptop at the moment, screen broke and it's kinda expensive to fix right now, with holidays and other expenses. I will get it fixed in the near future.

@ Iceus...You could just link whatever image you want to the code from a different folder instead of using the xpr file...for example

instead of :

Code: Select all

<texture>Image_That_You_Want_To_Replace.png</texture>
take it from your new folder that you will create...images (or whatever you want to call it):

Code: Select all

<texture>special://skin/images/YourImage.png</texture>
In this example you would create a folder called "images" with your .png/.jpg inside and call it into the skin like that...just a thought ;)

BTW, you can just put that folder right inside of the 720p folder and be good to go

Thxs for the files I came up with alot of idea but more then half of them wasn't think out too well so they fail so now Im going with this idea Im take in addons and put in shortcut links to them on the home screen at go like this < youtube > then you can press X to go Left on the addon or B to go right to most viewed B again to go to search etc.. for at add-on. So far I got movie25 setup like this under the movies part of the menu. :)

I think for the home part of the menu on the left or likey right a icon with Mail wood look great there but dont know if I could get a text browser to work for mail xD.

Dom,

This skin is inspiring - but mainly because of the features you're implementing. I'd like to humbly request that you try implementing some of these features into a more lightweight experience. The NXE theme gives me a headache (and I'm used to FSD anyway).

The idea of building a game library as you described in this or your other thread is excellent. I'd like to get something very lightweight that basically implements this as concept. You're the man with the vision on how it's implemented, but I must admit I'd like it implemented in other skins all together. :/

Sorry, but great work anyway. :D

The script that will take care of adding functionality will be available for any skin to use; however, it is up to skinner dev to use it or otherwise.

Can you elaborate on what you mean by lightweight?
