Ind-Bios Help

Post by Oldxboxusa »

I will made me a Ind-Bios with the sample files.
I don't really understand how i can edit the cfg file, more specifically particular parts of them.
Does anyone have a tutorial for this.
And before i forget the ind-bios configtool doesn't work for me, i have no windows pc (a virtualmachine is not an option).

[Text] Edit the one that comes with it!

Back up the original if you're nervous.

Ok the problem is when i put this on my box, nothing happens.

I will deactivate the flubber animation and use the logos i have found (logo.jpg, XBMC.3dm, XBMC.dxf, logo.x)

IGR will i set on,
480p + 720p support,
128mb support
xbmc\default.xbe on e:
some other dashes that i will use at start are on c:
the X logo must be in Orange and another in Black and White.
Fanspeed set on 100% (xbmc has another settings).

These i have not understand:
DASH1=\Device\Harddisk0\Partition2\evoxdash.xbe (which Partition and Drive Letter is which? Harddisk0 must be the HDD with the partitions, Partition(number) is what?)
DASH2=\Device\Harddisk0\Partition2\nexgen.xbe
DASH3=\Device\Harddisk0\Partition2\avalaunch.xbe
DEFAULTXBE=\Device\CdRom0\default.xbe

CUSTOMBLOB=\Device\Harddisk0\Partition2\flubber.x ;Enable custom Flubber from c:\flubber.x
CUSTOMLOGO=\Device\Harddisk0\Partition2\mslogo.bmp ;Enable custom MS Logo from c:\mslogo.bmp
CUSTOMX=\Device\Harddisk0\Partition2\xlogo.x ;Enable custom X Logo from c:\xlogo.x
CUSTOMTEXT=\Device\Harddisk0\Partition2\text.x ;Enable custom Text from c:\text.x

Try fewer changes at a time to narrow it down. Start with things that are features, then work your way to "fluff" like custom logos and cutting the animation
