I bought a modded xbox off of ebay claiming to be an executer 2 a bit ago finally decided I would open it up to install a new hard drive. Interestingly I discovered there was no executer chip like any others. I found this thing called a "NitroXX" attached to the side of the console connecting a port of some sort. Here are the photos https://imgur.com/gallery/MSaxO4Y. I am not tring to ask for much just can someone identify this and give me some details about it. Thanks in advance, Matt.

it is a nitrox chip it is basically a updated version / clone of the OpenXbox / PC-BioXX modchip

It is just a run of the mill lcp modchip with 1mb of flash that you can split to have multiple bioses on the chip.

you can flash it with a computer (via LTP port & BioXX / NitroXX flasher 1.4)

the same people that made it made the SmartXX modchip

link to a manual here I believe:

Above is everything I know about the modchip. Please can somebody tell me what it does, because I can get hold of these cheap and know how to install them. Also, will this chip work on GameCube?
What will it do on GameCube?

Hi...Modchips typically require some degree of technical acumen to install since they must be connected to a console's circuitry, most commonly by soldering wires to select traces or chip legs on a system's circuit board. Some modchips allow for installation by directly soldering the modchip's contacts to the console's circuit ("quicksolder"), by the precise positioning of electrical contacts ("solderless"), or, in rare cases, by plugging them into a system's internal or external connector.
