HDMI mod digital audio cracking

Hi, so I've seen the HDMI mods here and decided to give it a try. Initially, I was able to get picture (only in black and white) as well as audio through the coaxial method. I desoldered and resoldered after moving some cables and got full color, except the audio would sound crackled almost like white noise. The strange thing is that the audio would be normal when xbmc or the Xbox dash is running. Once a game has been launched, the sound would crack. I'm pretty confused as to what the problem may be. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you try the adaptor before cracking it open and installing it inside the xbox?

Do you have pictures of your install?

do you have a pic of the original adaptor as I may of used one the same as I have tried out a few.

as it is digital audio have you tried to change the format in xbmc does it have the same problem as games in other formats in xbmc ??
