Xbox frag after sitting 5 months

I last used it in February, tsopped it and played burnout was the last I did.

No error on screen.

have you checked the capacitors to see if any are leaking or bulging? i noticed in a few of mine with no error screen that it was usually this that caused it and as a result have quite a few knocking about broken :(

Which should should I check first? I removed the clock cap today after it was fraging, didn't help.

check all the caps not just the ones around where the clock cap is located. also what was in like inside when you opened it up after storage, sometimes a good clean can work wonders too. theres at least a few of the xboxs ive got not working only to clean them and there working again

cleaned and checked all caps, couldnt find any damage, still frag....

Fragging......What is it doing LED warning wise. The patterns that the machine sends out helps with diagnosing the problem. Before ripping apart the machine, always check that the AVI cable is fully plugged into the machine by the way. Most bioses will detect this plug not being fully inserted and send out a "frag signal".
