Question about removed clock capacitor

I removed the clock capacitor from my 1.5 Xbox by just pulling it off the motherboard and at the base of the motherboard where the legs connected, that little area looks chewed up. The clock capacitor was bulging and I think this may have been due to capacitor acid eating through the board a little bit. The rest of the motherboard looks normal but I was wondering if, considering this, you guys think that my Xbox is still safe to use?

It should be. Just use some isopropyl alcohol and a cotton swab to clean the area.
