To avoid confusion, Xbox Halo 2 Ice Blue and Xbox Kasumi-chan Blue are not the same.
Xbox Kasumi-chan Blue is much more rare, only 5000 where made. $351 CAD was a total steal. :o

Honestly I started with a White Crystal Soft Modded Xbox with just a 500GB HDD knew nothing about hard mods or Soldering. I did a huge amount of digging/finding people, Forums, Different Sites. Spent tons of time and money, waiting and getting extremely lucky. I can Imagine I spent over $3000 so far on the xbox altogether... The Hard Truth. Things like this I should have done way back in 2004 it's way too late now things are scarce, extinct. I'm really surprised theres actually a good amount of people who still fiddle with this old xbox to be honest.

The Funny thing is that theres a even rarer Kasumi chan Xbox that says Dead or Alive "Online" not "Ultimate" :( the guy in japan sold it on ebay as the original bundle with the controller, xbox live, dvd remote. the only thing i didnt get was the kasumi body pillow with it. he said the console was junk the dvd drive made noises but for that price I immediately bought it. when i finally got my hands on it of course they come with a retail Thompson drive and they just suck in general lol, but the insides of the dead or alive console was so brand new there wasnt a spec of dust or dirt. i didnt understand how it was played enough to have a broken drive.

That is awesome. It's like a green R2-D2. Nice touch with the controller numbers. What kind of paint did you use and did you create a custom stencil ?

My brother-in-law did the paint job, with a brush, all by hand, no stencils. I'm not sure what kind of paint he used, it may have been model paint? I will ask him when I see him again :)

Spec: UK PAL v1.2, Ind-Bios 5003-67, Samsung DVD, standard 10gb Seagate hard drive, XBMC4Xnox 3.5...

Still to-do: bigger hard drive, at least a 160gb. Will be for sale soon, with 1 controller, DVD dongle and remote, mains lead, maybe a HD AV lead, and wireless dongle? Price ? not sure yet?

Nextelhalo,

How did you do those LED's underneath the system?

Reminds me of low riders back in the 90's

Hey do you do custom lid cutting too? I wouldn't mind paying for someone for a black top and have it
cut so you can see the dvd drive and having a hole through a clear gem led so light shines through it.
I'm thinking about building a black and red LED X-tender Xbox like my blue one.
kind of like the photo here:

4 inch logisys cathode tube. You'll have to remove the tube from the housing gently or you will break the tube. They fit right into the bottom of the face plate and just use some hot glue to secure them. Route your cables and enjoy.

Does the ad come with two 4" cathodes or is it one cathode and I buy a quantity of two. Also the x3 control panel is different than a regular panel. I don't even know if these will work. Thanks for posting the ad though.

Looks like the clue is in the advert: "Logisys 4" Cold Cathode Light Kit with Dual Tube..."
