Batch extract games/multiple RAR sets in multiple folders?

I am setting up a 2TB drive for my XBOX.

I have a lot of games I want to transfer to my XBOX, but each game is in it's own folder, and every game is in RAR format.

How would I batch extract multiple RAR sets to a different hard drive on my PC?

I am using Windows 7 Pro

*update*

I finally found it.

see, all my xbox games are scene releases, so they are in multi part RAR archives, and each RAR set is in it's own folder per game. I found a program called Multi Unpacker, where you can specify a folder that contains multiple subdirectories/RAR archives, and can output to the desired directory/drive.

I just wish you can drag and drop to this program. But you do have the option of deleting the archive(s) after extraction.

I use 7zip + shell integration with Explorer. Select the desired games and right click. 7zip will present several options, I click "Extract here, " or "Extract to '...'" which will create a directory to unzip the files named the same as each archive's filename.

I am looking for a program that will scan a bunch of folders (preferably drag and drop) that each contain RAR archives and extract them to a desired folder

Searching the folder recursively for *.rar, selecting the results (ctl+a) and extracting as I described. Choose "Extract to..." and select your destination.

Because some end in .001, and others end in .RAR for every file in the set

7zip will automatically detect the presence of split archive part files in the same directory

But all the RAR archives are not in the same directory. Each game (which is a separate RAR archive) is in it's own directory. So I have around 1.5TB of games - around 800+ games, so there are 800+ directories.

The point is, I would like a tool where in Windows Explorer, I could select multiple directories, drag and drop those into the tool, or right click and use the tool to search through all those directories for RAR sets, and extract to a destination of my choice.

By the time you find away, you would have been quicker spending 1h extracting them manually.

I doubt it because I want to fill a 2tb drive with as many as possible on top of the almost 300gb of emus

The man's right!

Personally I think what I said will work.

If the directory structure is...

/Downloads/Games/GameName

And if it contains...
game-name.rar
game-name.001
game-name.002
...

Navigate to your root folder containing the 800 games you have personally backed up and have not downloaded (careful). Once you reach the folder containing the folders of rar part files, use Explorer's search function to search all contained folders for *.rar.

You should end up with 1 RAR from each game. Verify they're all being found by checking the number of returned search results.

Select em.
Right Click
7zip > Extract to...

Your computer will likely tweak out for a long time, but once an incomplete split archive is detected in 7zip it will check the file's location for the other parts automatically.

I'd probably use the search results to keep tabs on the progress and just work through manually. Otherwise just reorganize your files.

What is in the split rar files? Default.xbe in the root or a folder with the game title?

Either way you manage it, the games have covers, fanart and even preview videos if you want! All those will need to be done manually probably too :D

The split RARs contain ISOs.
