LCD mod with an Aladdin

Hi Guy & Gals, has anyone done the lcd mod using an Aladdin chip :?: If so is there a guide for it, or is it similar to other lcd installations using other chips :?: :)

Not all aladdin chips support lcd if it has a 4032 chip on it it is not lcd compatable.
It is imposible* to find one these days.

It is hard to find any lcd chips these days in reality.

So it's not just soldering a pot onto the pcb :?: :( There are a lot advertised saying they are lcd compatible, put that is just poop :?: :( Thanks

They'll be almost equally as hard to find as the Aladdin XTs that have LCD supports.

Check for people selling their chips on various forums. Be warned that these modchips are really popular and usually sell quick!
